Train-ee Student Launches Site for National Brand

It’s with a “proud parent” feeling that I announce that Train-ee student Nick Rivera of 2GoCreative has launched an ExpressionEngine-based site for Leslie Sansone’s Walk at Home program. For those of you not familiar with Walk at Home - it’s quite a big deal.  Walk at Home materials can be found at Wal Mart, Sam’s Club, Costco, Target, K Mart, and Best Buy, and Leslie has been featured on the Today Show, The Morning Show and The 700 Club.

Nick was another Train-ee Scholarship winner - so all of you in the EE community who sponsored the Southern Fried ExpressionEngine last January can take a little pride in this site launch.  Congrats Nick!

Aw shucks, Pa! Actually thank YOU and the wonderful sponsors that made it possible for me to attend. To say that the timing was incredible is an understatement.

To anyone kicking around signing up for one of Train-ee’s classes or purchasing their materials, I can’t recommend them enough! Mike has a definite talent for breaking things down (or ‘chunking’ haha) and explaining them without pushing that his way is the absolute truth. That is a rare quality among development gurus.

Here is a link to the initial scholarship announcement and a list of the wonderful sponsors that provided scholarships for Lauren ( of FlipBoxStudios and recently featured here as well), Beth aka Bunny (the mind behind http://www.rawfu.com) and myself.

Thank you again!
