Classroom Training Leads to Collaboration

Deb Pang-Davis of CococelloWeb and Print Design and John Knotts of Code72 met in the recent Train-ee Class in Portland, OR.  That classroom learning experience led to a collaborative ExpressionEngine build effort that just launched as a new site for wedding photographer KevinWeinstein.

I often get asked about creating some sort of online version of the 4-day EE class - and it’s stuff like this that really makes me reluctant to do so.  The folks that show up for the class always bring so much value to the curriculum that I’ve prepared, and when’s the last time you ended up collaborating with someone else that listened to the same webinar you did?

Congrats to Deb and John on the launch!

...And for those of you waffling about whether to sign up for the upcoming Train-ee class what are you waiting for?  You never know if you might end up sitting next to a future partner or client…

Hey, what about a class in Europe? EE is popular in the UK and becoming more and more popular in Germany, The Netherlands, etc.

Hi Emmanuel -

That idea is something I hope to explore a bit while in the Netherlands for the EECI2009 conference.
