Auction Teaser and Giveway

As a teaser to the upcoming Train-ee Church website auction, I just started tracking how many times my wife, two children and myself, use water in one day.  Note that this isn’t how much water we use, just the number of times we use a sink, flush a toilet, use the shower, run the wash machine, etc.

So I thought I’d turn this into a little teaser and give-away.

Leave a comment with a guess in this post until 2:00 ET on 4/24.  Whoever comes closest will win your choice of any one book or screencast here on Train-ee.com.  If multiple people guess the same correct answer I’ll put your names in a hat and draw one winner.

Annnddd…..survey says!

129 times.

So 129 times over 24 hour we used a sink, flushed a toilet, made coffee, ran the dishwasher, took a shower or in some other way used the availability of fresh water.

I honestly didn’t think it would be that often - I figured maybe 50.

Jon Thomas was the closest with a guess of 120—if you want to contact me with your choice of Train-ee products I’ll get you hooked up.

Thanks for playing along folks!

Woohoo!  I’ll take a look around.  Any recommendations on content that would help me use EE as more of a corporate intranet?

Hey Jon - if you’re building a true intranet with no external access at all then any of the content will apply.

However if it might be more of an extranet then the Members Only Content  Screencast would be best.

We’re sticking with just intranet for now, but we will have different access areas open to different departments in the company, so that screencast may still apply.

It also might be worth mentioning that I’ve installed LG’s Publish Plus extension.
