Church Site Series Complete
Almost a year and 39 posts later, I’m happy to announce the Building a Church Site series is complete. Over the next few weeks the completed site will be auctioned off on eBay, with proceeds going to charity (the sample site will also continue to live here on Train-ee). The blog posts will then be compiled and edited into another book which will be offered for sale here on Train-ee.
Portland EE Class and SXSW
PNW here we come! I’m pleased to announce a July 13-16th EE class in Portland, OR. We found a great venue for the class in a restored and repurposed elementary school.
Also - I decided today that I will be attending SXSW—so if you’re going look for me around the EllisLab events and say hey!
Show-mEE Code Added to Small Business Site
Just a FYI - I’ve gone ahead and added the “Show {m-EE}” code to the Small Business site. Found in the footer of each page, the Show {m-EE} button will return the live, unrendered EE template being used to create the page you are on:
![]()
It’s a handy and quick way to learn, and is exclusive to Train-ee.com.
Thanks again to Greg Aker of EllisLab for writing the plug-in that accomplishes this.
TipToe Through ExpressionEngine
I’m pleased to announce the next Train-ee ExpressionEngine class - back in Holland, Michigan this time in May.
Train-ee.com In Print
This morning I recieved word via Twitter that Train-ee.com had been featured in a web design magazine. So of course I had to dash out and buy a copy for the archives.
